He gave this information in a written reply to a question by Saroj Pandey in Rajya Sabha. He said that maximum all-weather roads have been constructed on the India-China border.

The highest expenditure on the India-China border
Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt said that 2088.57 km of roads have been constructed along the India-China border in the last five years. The cost of two thousand kilometer road projects has come to Rs 15477.06 crore. Similarly, 1336.09 km of roads have been built on the India-Pakistan border, at a cost of Rs 4242.38 crore.

Minister of State Ajay Bhatt further said in his reply that similarly 151.15 km of roads have been constructed on the Indo-Myanmar border. Rs 882.52 crore has been spent in the construction of the roads to be built on this border. At the same time, the least number of roads have been built on the Indo-Bangladesh border. 19.25 km of roads were constructed on this border, their cost has come to Rs 165.45 crore. He also told in his written reply that in the last five years, a total of 3595.06 km of roads have been constructed on the borders of the country. Whose cost has come to Rs 20767.41 crore.
